The BA and MA degrees in International relations receive accreditation.  This is the first graduate degree ever accredited in any college in Cyprus.

The Office of Research is set up, to direct and coordinate research – particularly externally funded research.

The Center for Leisure, Sports Research and Development is also set up.  This is the only one of its kind in the region.

Finally, the Helix Business Incubator Unit is set up.  The unit is funded by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to help start innovative businesses.
