Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a Master’s/Chief Officer License
- Proven sea service experience on board merchant marine vessels.
- Additional academic qualifications such as a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree are highly desirable.
Additional Requirements:
- If the successful applicant does not possess a “Train the Instructor” certificate (required by the IMO Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended), they must commit to attending specific training to acquire this certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lectures and practical training sessions.
- Preparing and updating course materials.
- Assessing and evaluating student performance.
- Participating in faculty meetings and contributing to curriculum development.
