Understand the structure of the face and body, relevant to their field of study, enabling them to independently apply appropriate and most effective treatments offered in an Aesthetic Centre.

Select and use the appropriate laboratory equipment to safely provide the best and most effective treatments in an Aesthetic Centre.

Practice the profession in accordance with the legal framework and the health and safety regulations that apply in Aesthetic Centres, as well as in beauty and wellness units.

Understand the basic theoretical background of health and medical sciences. These courses provide students with the necessary knowledge concerning the human body, enabling them to correctly perceive, from an aesthetic perspective, clinical problems and pathological conditions such as cellulite, acne, skin aging, and abnormal hair growth.

Use cosmetic products and recognize their basic properties and characteristics. Recognition
OF PROFESSIONAL RIGHTS IN CYPRUS AND THE EUROPEAN UNION
Graduates are eligible to register to the Cyprus Republic’s Aestheticians Registration Council and obtain a Professional Practice License. According to the relevant EU legislation, professional rights acquired in one-member country can be transferred to any other EU country, provided specific criteria are met.
As for students from Greece, previous graduates of Intercollege’s Aesthetics programme have successfully obtained recognition of their professional rights in the Hellenic Republic by following the procedure established by the Autonomous Department for the Implementation of European Legislation (A.D.I.E.L).
Programme Profile
The programme aims to provide high-quality knowledge, competencies, and skills in the field of Aesthetics and its technology. The programme structure has been designed in alignment with similar programmes abroad, following an extensive research review and in accordance with the guidelines and standards of the Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education.
The field of Aesthetics is multifaceted. Proper student training requires the acquisition of knowledge through a broad range of subjects. The programme equips students with the essential tools to independently manage the operations of an aesthetics practice, by offering targeted and structured knowledge. Additionally, graduates will be capable of working effectively and providing safe, appropriate services in areas related to aesthetics, beauty, and wellness.
The four-year programme provides training at both theoretical and practical/laboratory levels, structured around five core thematic modules (all courses are mandatory). These modules include: General Knowledge and Knowledge Enrichment Courses (1st Module), Health and Medical Sector Courses (2nd Module), Specialization Courses in Aesthetics (3rd Module), Cosmetology Courses (4th Module), and Management and Entrepreneurship Courses (5th Module).
The combination of these thematic modules creates a comprehensive curriculum through which students will achieve thorough training in both theoretical knowledge and practical/laboratory skills. The programme also aims to significantly enhance the students’ experience by organizing regular internship periods in aesthetics laboratories and other professional units operating in the beauty and wellness sector.
