The Sarakostiano Street Food Fest 2025 Successfully Concluded with the Participation of Students, Faculty, and Alumni from the Culinary Arts Programs of Intercollege
The Sarakostiano Street Food Festival 2025, organized by the Cyprus Chefs Association – Nicosia / Kyrenia District in collaboration with the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation, was successfully completed with the participation of students, lecturers, and graduates of the Culinary Arts Programs of Intercollege.
Filled with nostalgic aromas, mouth-watering flavors, and heartwarming music, the Sarakostiano Street Food Fest 2025 took place with great success at the lower level of Eleftheria Square in Nicosia.
The festival, which has now been established as a tradition of solidarity and culinary delight, welcomed crowds of all ages for a day full of delicious fasting treats, children’s activities, a cultural program, and actions for a good cause. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation to support children with oncological and hematological diseases.
The participation of students, lecturers, and graduates of the Culinary Arts Programs of Intercollege was particularly significant. They contributed voluntarily to the preparation and presentation of the day’s delicious creations, adding their own special touch to the success of the event with passion, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
The artistic program featured live performances by the rebetiko/folk group “Anaren Bourekk” and the music ensemble of Angelos Avgoustis, keeping the audience entertained and energized throughout the event.
Despite the weather conditions, the covered area of the lower level of the square offered safety and comfort for everyone, proving that when there is will and good organization, nothing can stand in the way of giving and joy.
